This score is accepted in Good Clinical Practice Recommendations (GCPR) by FOGSI-ICOG and Gestosis India Association.

Process of Risk Scoring

Mild, Moderate, and High-risk factors are quantified as 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

Score is calculated by using a questionnaire about 27 risk factors.

When Total HDP GESTOSIS SCORE is ≥ 3, the pregnant woman is marked as “At Risk for HDP.”

Factors like MAP (Mean Arterial Pressure),Weight Gain, Anemia, GCT (Glucose Challenge Test) and TSH may alter the score during each visit.
